Our Journey

2009-10-Survey to identify special children:Team started off with a survey to identify such children. The survey was carried out in 5 villages, south of Nashik along with outskirts of Nashik. The villages included –Raigadh Nagar, RajurBahula, Vadivarhe, Gaulane and Pimplad. As part of this program we found out from villagers about if there are such children in their villages and their address. We then met their parents and sought feedback from them in a questionnaire specially designed for this survey. During the survey program we came across 43 children with such special abilities.

2010-11 – IQ tests were carried out by government recognized Phycologists for 22 children and then received certification by Civil surgeon on disability. Manali also helped receive concessions for children for public transport facilities

September 2011- Inauguration of center at Vilholi, Nashik.

October 2013 – Inauguration of school was attended by eminent people who have dedicated their lives for social cause such as Dr. Mukadam (Gurujij Rugnalaya, Nashik) and government officials from social welfare and other departments.
